No Pain, No Gain

“No Pain, No Gain”

A question everyone wants answers to is “What exercise should I do & what should I eat to change my body”. This famous old school “no bullshit” fitness quote sums it up nicely.

To change your body you need to put it through a certain degree of pain and discomfort, otherwise why would it want to change? There’s no need for it to change because it doesn’t have to adapt to extra stress.

Change will not happen until you accept pain as your friend and seize the courage and mental discipline to immerse yourself in a certain amount of pain and discomfort.

This can vary from an athlete who has a trained pain barrier that can push them to complete exhaustion compared to the ‘weekend warrior’ who struggles and finds it hard to jog around the block. There is still a certain degree of pain and discomfort to stimulate a change.

Accept pain in your life and the next time you are training push your body into a zone where you would not normally go and you will see a change!
